It's The End Of The World As We Know It! And I Feel Fine

How are you going to spend your last...... lets say 4 and a half days?  For those of you that haven't heard, once again, we have an individual by the name of Harold Camping that has predicted the end of the world. More precisely the second coming of Christ.  Harold and his followers have predicted this to occur on Saturday May 21 2011 at 6 p.m.

The Least of These

Have you ever felt this way?  Like everyone is just ignoring what is going on around them?  Like everyone is to busy playing Church to be the Church?  Here is a video that to be honest with you just plain hurts.  Why because I have been guilty of being a part of building the machine of church.... of the bigger is better mentality.  Watch let me know what you think.

Up A Creek Without a Paddle

Arbuckle Creek is a bit of a secluded place and pretty wild for the most part.  You will encounter other people in this area but it is not crowded and the further you go up it the fewer people you will encounter.  It has been at least 10 years since I had been up the creek :) and with today being relatively windy, I thought why not.  

The following pictures are of the furthest point that I traveled in the boat.  The boat I have works rather well for small creeks like this and in lakes of all sizes.  I took advantage of that today.  The trip took me approx. 1.5 hours from Neiberts Fish Resort to get to the train trestle.  It was worth the trip.   

Who Are They Talking About When You Are Not Around?

Well that's a fair question.  Can you answer it?  Well there is a good chance that it is you, and there is a good chance that it is not favorable.  Oh yes I said it..... it is most likely you and it is not favorable.

Why would I say this.... well I have been there and I have heard them talking.  I have been in groups and the comments are made.  I then look at the group of people and wonder why would they engage in that type of behavior?
